Gary Fuller

I am a self taught woodturner.  My primary focus is turning with embellishments such as carving, inlays, paint, and copper and other soft metals.  My preference is to build up turning blanks from cast off “WOOD ENDS” rather than solid wood blanks.  I don’t always end up with with what I set out to create other than starting with a rough idea:  most of the time i let the wood tell me what it wants to become.  I also enjoy making small tables/plant stands but most of my creations feature turning.  My work is shown exclusively at the Artist’s Cooperative Gallery of Westerly.
